Containment measures:
An isolation distance of 200 m from other maize cultures needs to be guaranteed as well as a (pollen trap) non-transgenic border of 4 rows. Cleaning of the drill and the combine before and after experiment. Destruction of vegetative material at end of experiment (incorporation into soil).
Monitoring measures:
After the trial volunteer plants will be followed up and destroyed.
Status:
- The Biosafety Advisory Council a.i. issued a positive advice (with conditions) for this field trial.- Authorization procedure completed. The notifier was granted authorization from the Federal Minister to perform the trial.
